December 2022 Community Day Bringing Back Pokémon from 2021 and 2022

Trainers! Pokémon Go has officially announced the Community Days for December, which will feature Pokémon from both past 2021 and 2022 Community Day events.

Taking place over two days, the event will offer not only the chance to encounter shiny Pokémon, but the exclusive bonus and events as well.

Pokémon GO December Community Day Going Back to 2021

Taking place Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022 and Sunday Dec. 18, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm each day, the new event will feature Pokémon from this year and last year’s Community Days.

Pokémon from 2022 will be appearing more frequently in the wild and Timed Research, whereas Pokémon from 2021 will be in Eggs, Raids and Timed Research.

Bonuses for this event include:

  • 2x XP for catching Pokémon
  • 2x Stardust for catching Pokémon
  • 2x Candy for catching Pokémon
  • 1/2 Hatch Distance for Eggs put in Incubators during event times
  • 2x chance for XL Candy from catching Pokémon for Trainers level 31 and up
  • Incense and Daily Adventure Incense will have a three hour activation period
  • Three hour Lure Modules
  • One additional Special Trade each day (available 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)

Saturday will feature the following Pokémon, which all have an increased chance of being Shiny: Sandshrew, Alolan Sandshrew, Alolan Geodude, Hoppip, Spheal and Stuffel

Sunday will feature: Teddiursa, Galarian Zigzagoon, Starly, Roggenrola, Litwick and Deino

Rare encounter each day include Bulbasaur, Dratini and Mudkip.

This event will feature one-star raids, including Machop, Eevee, Roselia, Swablu, Duskull, Shinx, Gible, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott and Fletchling. These Pokémon will also hatch from 2 km Eggs.

All evolutions will feature their Legacy move, and the full moon will be available each night so that Trainers can evolve their Teddirusa into its final evolution Ursaring.

This day will also feature a Community Day Special Research story, December Community Day 2022.

Timed Research and stickers will also be available.

There’s a lot to look forward to with this Community Day. Trainers should plan ahead and stock up on plenty of Lucky Eggs and Stardust, while also determining what they want to focus on hunting.
