Trainers! The Season of Mythical Wishes is soon to arrive in Pokémon GO, and we’re taking a look at what to expect from this event.
As we move away from the Season of Light, the new season will feature events, spawns and activities that will keep trainers moving in Pokémon GO.
Pokémon GO Announces the Season of Mythical Wishes
The Season of Mystical Wishes is season nine for Pokémon GO, and Trainers will now have bonuses and other features available to them.
The Season of Mythical Wishes begins Dec. 1, at 10:00 a.m. local time and runs until March 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. local time.
During this time, bonuses for this event include guaranteed Gifts from PokéStop spins, while an increase in incense effectiveness while walking. Additionally, Pokémon participating in Raids will be able to do more damage.
Additional bonuses also include:
- All Trainers level 31+ will receive one guaranteed XL Candy for each trade
- All Trainers will get an additional Candy for each trade
- Trainers will be able to open 125 Gifts everyday
- Trainers will be able to send 40 Gifts everyday
Additionally, Trainers may also see new Pokémon in sizes previously unseen. Trainers may now find XXS Pokémon and XXL Pokémon.
While these bonuses will be the mainstay during the Season of Mythical Wishes, no doubt more events will continue to roll-out as we move throughout the Season.
Of course, December’s Community Day will focus on all of the Community Day Pokémon featured throughout the year, and we still have both a Christmas and New Year’s event to look forward to.
As we ring in the new year, Pokémon GO is going to offer plenty for Trainers both new and old. Naturally, expect more surprises from the game as the months progress.
