Today we’re looking at the short Collection Challenge available during the 2022 Día De Muertos event in Pokémon GO.
Only lasting 2 days, Trainers will need to act fast to complete this Collection Challenge.
Pokémon GO’s 2022 Die de Muertos Event Collection Challenge
The 2022 Día de Muertos event is taking place in Pokémon GO right now, and users only have a short 2-day window to both complete the collection challenge and catch the shiny Duskull with cempasúchil crown.
For this event, Pokémon GO has included a Día de Muertos 2022 Collection Challenge, which means Trainers that complete this challenge will get some special rewards as well as another notch in their Collection Challenge tTophy.
This one is rather easy, given that the event isn’t all that long. However, Trainers need to catch the following:
- Roselia
- Litwick
- Cubone
- Sunkern
- Chinchou
- Swirlix
For this Collection Challenge, the rewards include 1 Incense, 1 Poffin and 1 Alolan Marowak encounter. Trainers near a couple of PokéStops should complete the challenge in no time.
Additionally, it is important to remember that today is the Spotlight Hour for Duskull wearing the cempasúchil crown. Occurring from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, Trainers will have one hour to catch as many of these Duskulls as they can. Considering spawns for this costumed Duskull are rather rare, be sure to play during this event if you can.

For those looking for even more Duskull in the cempasúchil crown, be sure to find and complete the “Make 3 great curveball throws in a row” task. This will also guarantee an encounter with costumed Duskull.
This is also a great time for Trainers to catch Shiny Swirlix, should they not have one.
