Trainers! Pokémon GO has announced the official schedule of events for November 2022.
During this month, Trainers can not only expect the Ultra Beast Guzzlord in Raids, but new Spotlight Hours, Mega Raids, Events and more.
Pokémon GO Announces November 2022 Events
Today Pokémon GO has officially announced the events for November 2022. For this month, the biggest news is the arrival of the Ultra Beast Guzzlord, as well as the return of Nihilego. Additionally, another Community Day Classic is arriving, and there are some new events as well.
The Research Breakthrough for this month will be Starmie, though I can’t imagine anyone cares about Breakthroughs anymore. Remember when they gave a Legendary? That was cool.
The only new live event is Safari Zone: Singapore, which occurs Nov. 18 through Nov. 20.
Events for November 2022
- Día de Muertos: Nov. 1 – Nov. 2
- Community Day Classic: Dratini: Nov 5
- Greedy Gluttons Event: Nov. 9 – Nov. 17
- Team GO Rocket Takeover: Nov. 14 – Nov. 17
- November Community Day: Teddiursa: Nov. 12
- Elite Raids: Nov. 13
- Actual Eclipse Event: Nov. 23 – Nov. 28
- ???: Nov. 27
Spotlight Hours
- Nov. 1: Duskull* wearing a cempasúchil crown and 2x Stardust for catching Pokémon
- Nov. 8 Croagunk* and 2x XP for catching Pokémon
- Nov. 15 Porygon* and 2x catch Candy
- Nov. 22 Petilil and 2x Candy for transferring Pokémon
- Nov. 29 Hoothoot* and 2x XP for evolving Pokémon
Remember shiny rates are not boosted during Spotlight Hours. Petilil is the interesting one out of the bunch, as we are still waiting on Hisuian Lilligant. Costumed Duskull getting his own hour is also super beneficial for those chasing the Shiny.
Concerning Raids, we have several Five-Star, Mega and Raid Hours to deal with.

- Origin Forme Giratina: Nov. – Nov. 8
- Guzzlord :Nov. 8 – Nov. 23
- Nihilego: Nov. 23 – Dec. 1
Mega Raids
- Mega Banette: Nov. 1 – Nov. 8
- Mega Gyarados: Nov. 8 – Nov. 23
- Mega Houndoom: Nov. 23 – Dec. 1
Raid Hours
- Nov. 2 Origin Forme Giratina*
- Nov. 9: Guzzlord
- Nov. 16; Guzzlord
- Nov. 23 Nihilego
- Nov. 30 Nihilego
Guzzlord is likely the winner here since it’s the only new one, though Mega Raids are rather popular for certain Trainers. Of course, we at The Pika Pika Times will be posting a Raid Guide to help Trainers defeat Guzzlord and Nihilego.
In terms of the events for this month, Día de Muertos is going to be great for those that love collecting hats, whereas nothing official has come out about the Greedy Gluttons event. It’s not hard to imagine that it’ll feature the usual suspects of Pokémon that like to eat: Snorlax, Greedent, Guzzlord etc, etc. However, this would be an excellent time to not only bring back Greedent, but introduce Cramorant into the game as well.

The Team GO Rocket takeover will be great for those that like to battle (or need to move up to Level 45 . . .), while the currently unknown event will likely revolve around the Thanksgiving holiday.
