The Pokémon Company has announced the new TCG: Paldea collection, a set of three different boxes featuring the new Paldea starters arriving to Scarlet and Violet.
Boxes will be based around Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly, and feature promo cards, oversize cards, an enamel pin and more.
New Pokémon TCG: Paldea Collection Featuring Starters and Legendaries
While many are still anticipating Silver Tempest arriving soon, Pokémon has already announced a new collection arriving Jan. 6, 2023.
Based around the Paldean starters, the boxes not only contain a foil promo card for Sprigatito, Fuecoco or Quaxly, but also contain an oversize card featuring either Koraidon or Miraidon.
According to the official Pokémon website,
Get ready for a brand-new adventure in the Paldea region with the Pokémon Trading Card Game! First partner Pokémon Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly join your collection as foil promo cards, and an enamel pin lets you show off your chosen Pokémon everywhere you go. Discover even more with booster packs and an oversize card featuring the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon or Miraidon as a powerful Pokémon ex!
Each set will include:
- 3 foil promo cards featuring Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly
- 1 foil oversize card featuring Koraidon ex or Miraidon ex
- 1 collector’s pin featuring Sprigatito, Feucoco or Quaxly
- 4 Pokémon TCG booster packs
- A Code card usable in either the Pokémon TCG online or Pokémon TCG Live

While it is currently unknown what packs will be in the set, it wouldn’t surprising to see some Silver Tempest, or the rumored last SW/SH set alongside some of the new Scarlet and Violet base set. Either way, this collection should be fun to open as well as collect.
Additionally, while fans wait to get their hands on not only the new Scarlet and Violet TCG sets, many are eagerly anticipating the Nintendo Switch games arriving as well.
