Trainers! Teddiursa is arriving to November’s Community Day in Pokémon GO.
Taking place Saturday, Nov. 13 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, trainers will see Teddiursa appear more frequently in the wild. In addition to a possible shiny Teddiursa, Pokémon GO will also unveil Ursaluna.
Teddiursa Community Day Arrives to Pokémon GO Nov. 13
Teddiursa is arriving to Community Day Saturday, Nov. 12. Along with shiny Teddiursa being possible, Niantic has also announced that a special “full moon” event will allow trainers to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna.
According to LeekDuck, for this event, bonuses include:
- Increased Teddiursa spawns
- 3x Catch Stardust
- 3-Hour Incense
- 3-hour lures
- 2x Catch Candy
- 2x Chance to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
- One additional special trade, for two on Community Day
- Trades require 50% less Stardust
During this event, or up to five hours after, evolving Ursaring into Ursaluna will teach your Ursaluna the Charged Attack High Horsepower, a Ground-type attack that delivers 100 power during Trainer Battles, and 110 power during Gyms and Raids.
The traditional Photobomb encounters will also be available. Take a photo of one of your Pokémon for a chance at a surprise Teddiursa encounter.
New to this event will be a “full moon”. From Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time to Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. local time, there will be a full moon in Pokémon GO that allows players to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna. This evolution costs 100 Teddiursa candies, and trainers will only be able to evolve their Ursaring during this event.
Four-Star Raids, Field Research Tasks and More
Additionally, the same four-star raids found in previous Community Days will also make their appearance during this event.
Right now, the only Field Research Task currently known is Catch 3 Teddiursa, which can offer a Teddiursa, 5 Great Balls, or 2 Ultra Balls.
Additionally, the usual U.S. $1.00 Special Research Story will also be available. At this time, it is unknown what the tasks will be, though they will likely involve catching and evolving Teddiursa. Stickers will also be available at PokéStops and the in-game shop during the event.
Though Teddiursa as a shiny has been available in the game for awhile now, the “full moon” aspect of this Community Day should be something exciting for both old and new players. Considering all that was going on during the Litwick Community Day, it’s no surprise that this one is a bit more laid back on Niantic’s end.
